Been feeling a bit under the weather recently hence the distinct lack of posts.

Working on a few ideas so normal service will hopefully be resumed shortly.

The wolf within

My friend sent me this in an e-mail today. It's very profound but very simple so I thought it would be nice to share it with you:

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between 2 wolves.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Happy Journeys.

Congratulations ...

... Mr & Mrs Windsor

I always love a good wedding and as one smug maried to another - I wish Charles and Camilla a long and happy marriage.

In one sense, it's sad that they've had to wait so long. For whatever reason, they didn't marry all those years ago and they obviously suffered for that choice. Charles felt that he had to have a certain sort of bride and fulfilled that requirement. The nation and many charities certainly benefitted from Diana; she demonstrated a down-to-earth caring nature; and she gave us two strong, fun-loving, open-minded princes.

Camilla could never replace Diana and I'm sure she wouldn't want to. I think that much is obvious in the way that she will be known as the Duchess of Cornwall.

But I'm glad that they faced the strong moral, constitutional and emotional opposition and have finally wed. Underneath the titles, responsibilities and past events, they are two human beings that love each other. With the blessings of their families, they have married and we should be happy for them.

To the bride and groom!
